I am working on redecorating my office and have been trying to think of fun ways to decorate with pictures of my favorite kids! I had purchased a burlap lampshade and wanted to give it a little something extra, so I thought reminders of my babies would be perfect! This little lampshade pick-me-up is quick and simple!
- School Photos
- Binder clips
- X-Acto Knife
What to do:
- Use your pencil to mark where you would like to make the cuts in the lampshade. It will be where you want the hole in the binder clip to go, so make sure not to go to low or your picture will hang off the bottom.
- Use your X-Acto knife to make a small horizontal cut where you have marked.
- Place your brad through the back hole in the binder clip, then insert it into the slit in the lampshade as shown above. Spread apart the brad prongs on the inside of the lamp. (Repeat for as many picture as you would like to use.)
- Put your school pictures in the binder clips and enjoy those sweet faces that light up your life… Yes, I just said that!
